Ball Room. I proceeded by sedan chair via Cochrane St.
About 50 yds. from my do or I saw a man coming
behind me. He passed and stopped in front of me. He
ordered me to stop and pointed a gun at me. Another man
prodded me in the back with something hard which I took
to be a gun. The one from behind pulled back my coat which
was unbuttoned and took about $75 in bank notes from my
left inner breast pocket end a Conklin fountain pen. My
name was carved on it, as follows: "To Jackson Chan". Cn
the other sid e "By S.C. Ma". I recognise Exh. F. as the pen
which was taken from me. The other man searched my right
inner breast pocket. I had a bundle of business memoranda
in it. He gave these back at to me. It was very dark and
I could not recoise the two me. The men in front took
my wrist watch. The one behind took a cigarette lighter
from the right lower pocket of my waist coat. They left
and I went home. I was unwell the next day and did not
make report until
